I have heard from a few people that the heads crack easy on B2's. Is this true? I also heard they are impossible to get out of junk yards because so many have been replaced? If you want them new they are like 600 bucks, is all this true?

If you overheat they will crack. Mine overheated but didn't crack so it all depends. If you go to car-part.com you can find used heads. If not look to craigslist.
