I bought a 85 b2 from my brother and it has some problems. First the engine wouldn't start but I recently found out the problem(the distributor jumped timing almost 30 degress, and my brother ran the truck dry of gas). I got it started and got it moving too. But there is something I didn't notice happening when my brother had it. When I push the brakes to change the gear (example: from Reverse to Drive, it has to go through Neutral too.), it rolls forward about a foot then stops, while I have the brakes on. I need to know if this is a problem with the brake system or if it is suppose to do that. Thanks in advance.

Its definitly the brakes cause you truck shouldnt go any where if your brakes were working correctly.
