ok i have an 85 b2 with the carbed 2.8 with the manuel shifting transfer case that runs and drives well... it needs a front drive shaft and i have an 86 b2 2.9 efi and push button 4x4 can i put the front drive shaft directly into the 85? and i just want to tell you guys thanks yall have really helped me alot!

I don't think you will have any problems doing this swap just measure the driveshaft from u-joint to u-joint before ripping it apart.

alrihgt guys i gave up on the broncos and bought another yota 12 inch lift and 37s soooo no more fords for a while

hey can i get the reverse light switch from the top of the transfer case from the 86?
i really need it. willin to pay some.

Hey Kolton.

Is that switch on the trans or transfer case?. If transfer case what type electric or manual?
I think I have an electric trans case around here if it is on that...
Let me know.

it comes out of the transfer case, right infront the shifter and to the right of the 4x4 shift. it has a green (or at least mine did) tail that comes out of the top that plugs into some of the wiring.

this is what it liiks like when its in the case. (the wires arent attached, its all shot and rotted)
