I keep hearin of every one putting explorer 8.8's under xj's but how bout puttin a dana 30 xj front under a bronco ll? gettin tired of hitting every thing with the front diff and lack of flex.

any thing is possible. go the wrecking yard and measure from rotor to rotor, i would not go any narrower than the stock bii because it is already a little unsteady in its stock form. also look at the pumkin and make sure it has a drivers side drop, if not it will not work.

i know they are a bit wider because people put spacers on the 8.8's when put in an xj.and yes driver side drop and high pinion if out of an xj

sweet, then swap away, shouldn't be that hard. i like off set axles widths anyhow for better traction.
