Great weekend wheeling. However, more questions arise.

I'll do a write up about the trip once the pictures are sent to me. I had an awesome time. The trails were filled with huge rocks and lots of water. A snorkel is now in the plans.
Now for my questions.
Currently I have 3.55 gears running 33's. Auto tranny - staying that way, eventual 5.0, 36s or 37s (whichever I decide at the time) It goes good in 4LO but 4HI isn't going anywhere. I wheel with a group of jeeps and at time it seems like I can go through rocks, trenches, etc w/o problem while they spin with their 35s and 4.88 gears. Now at one point I was in a situation where I didn't have the power to get over an obstacle. Basically I'm confused.

This is a trailered rig so top speed is not a concern, is the lowest ratio possible the goal or would to low put me in the situation I am in now.

I have a welded rear, but I blew it out this weekend and came to the conclusion how much I missed turning. I'm looking for a capible locker that will drive me through the rocks. The aussie locker is the cheapest, I'm considering this for the price, but I want an opinion first. It's the cheapest but I don't want to buy something that will blow out the first time I run it. I am on a budget but I want to be reliable. Since I'm doing the gears, I do want to do the front and rear lockers at the same time.
Thank you! I will update the member ride and create a trail ride thread once the pictures are sent to me.
