Reverse lights out, any thoughts?

I have a 89 BroncoII, the fuses are good, all works well, bulbs replaced with new ones yesterday, wiring seems ok from what Ive checked , but the reverse lights do not come on when placed in Reverse? all other lights work perfectly?
Any one have any ideas of what I can look for? Thanks to you all for any help / suggestions.
