I just put my rebuilt carb back on my 84 BII, 5spd. :D
I had all kinds of pieces of tabe labeling lines, hoses and etc...

I had to readjust the idle speed which now works great.

Now I have lots of white smoke whenever I gun the engine and let it idle.

I just changed the oil and it was not cloudy looking just looked liked old oil.

I have a new fuel filter, air filter, & pcv.

What do I still need to adjust on the carb or try next.

Thanks a lot-Kelly aka Mr. D

Check that your PCV is hooked up correctly.

White smoke? Usually a sign of a head gasket gone bad, do a compression test on all cylinders. If a gasket goes between a water jacket and cyl it will not get in your oil, but will form steam from the tailpipe. Good luck. :redneck: :canada:
