I am purchasing another bronco II, and I was wondering if 33x12.5x15 will
fit under a 89 Bronco II with a 3" Body lift without major rubbing.

So what do you think?

I dont think it will work without fender trimming. Ive seen pictures of 4" lift on 33's and they would definately rub with any amount of flex. I think 31's with your 3" lift would be ideal, Unless you dont mind trimming.

I have an 85 Ranger in addition to an 87 BII. I went with 3" body lift and 31x10.50's no problem on the Ranger. BFG (and likely others) make a 32x11.50 that MIGHT work with the 3" body lift. I ended up wishing I had done a 4" suspension lift with the 32x11.50's instead. I didn't wanna do an engine swap in the Ranger, or I'd have went 6" suspension on 35's.

The main problem I've had with tire rub in the back bottom front fenders on both vehicles. Even with roughly 9" of total lift, my 35's still rub there on the BII offroading.

87 BII
5.0 HO
Dana 44 front (full width)
9" Ford rear (full width)
NP435 4-speed
NP205 transfer case
3.5" James Duff EB coils that netted about 6" with the axle swap and 3" body lift.
35" Pro-Comp MT's on Eagle Alloys

Like every says if you don't mind trimming a bit then you could fit 33's. I fit 33's stock with the fenders cut now I fit 36's with a six inch lift with no rubbing. :redneck: If you need pics:

I agree I trimmed mine to fit 33's looks great. After that I put 2" blocks in the rear to help with the old springs until I get new springs so probably about 1" lift from stock and it looks pretty bad ass.
