Just wondering what I should do about my computer? Should I bag it or try to relocate it? Has anyone did this?

I would relocate it. by sealing it all together the temp difference could cause condensation. it is only held in by like 3 screws. just take the retainer off and move it up into the dash. right now it should be in the passenger side kick panel.
71 Bronco - twin sticked, full width, 2" lift, wristed arm, lots of rust...

I ended up putting it behind my glove box or where it used to be. I had to separate the front and back of the GB to fit it behind there. Didn't have to cut wires or buy anything though so it worked out good.
