hello i have a question

i have a bronco 1990 with 2.9l V6 engine
the check engine light is on and off......now have i checked the engine codes and he gives code
23 throttle postioner sensor out of self test range
54 air charge temperature circuit open
what does this mean

i have engine problems the idle is going up and down between 900 and 2000 rpm
and the car is verry slow and use a lot of fuel

first off this is not a high traffic site ( no offense to the site) second of all no need to be a Richard
23 change you TPS and 54 is probably your mass

my advice is to fix the TPS then clear the codes and see what happens...
