what does the exhaust sound like thru a catalytic converter without a muffler?

Don't know, if I could get away without a muffler I would ditch the cat. I would guess about the same just louder since all a muffler does is muffle

I ripped my muffler off wheeling one time and it was pretty loud. like you could get pulled over for it, loud.
