O.K. I got my heart set on going 302, C-4, D20 with the '86 BII right. But I don't have them yet so I guess my options are still open. Damn it!! Now I got a guy offering me a deal on a tranny & case out of an '80 shortbox stepside. I'm guessing the tranny is a T-18? He said it is a BW & on the side is:13-01-065-907. He said the T-Case is a NP 208 F. Anyone know about these components? Are they shorter or longer than the C-4 D-20 combo? Are they good options or should I just go with what I know? Heeelp!

the t-18 and np208 is the combo that was in my (stock) 81 bronco. i was gonna run it in my broncoII but i went a different route and did a body swap. i think the combo is more than capable but the end choice is your's.

even though im running a auto im partial to manuel. what is your rig set up for now auto or manuel?

It's auto now but I heard a sick rumor that going manual would be pretty simple. If it is I'd rather go stick any day. Is that setup shorter or longer?...

Any details Nobody? If I do go stick, would I be better of going T18 or T5?

I would run the T18.......1st gear is 6.3:1 if you could find a NP435 it is 6.69:1

Don't know much about the tranny, I went with a C-6 auto, cause I couldn't find a 4x4 manual. But anyways the NP208 is a bitch to fit between the frame rails of a bronco ii. I tried and was going tht have to take a hell of a chunk out of the frame to center the rear output. i ended up with a NP205.
