I was flipping through the past pages of this site and I came upon an interesting topic where someone told about converting their 302 over to a single wire alternator but I think they used a GM alt. I was wondering if i would be able to do this with a 1991 4.0. Anyone know how to do this?

not with the alternator mounted inthe conventional 4.0 location, if you rigged a mount where the ac pump was you could run dual alt.
