i really like the look of the b2s with the chop. i think i really just like the small truck look. i saw a ranger single cab on a b2, and a small flat deck, and it looked awesome. i would consider finding a decent cab for a couple of hundies. then i came across this video...

last weekend i was sitting in a 1940's studebaker 1 ton dump truck.

i know of a guy where i used to live, had a 39 dodge on a 1990 ranger supercab 4x4 frame. 4 liter v6 swap. real cherry.

anyone heard of doing this? i know you could swap a car body, providing the wheelbases are similar - i found out a fiero has a similar wheelbase. if i could get one of those cabs, and re-work some of the metal, new glass, (rollcage inside, sheesh!), i could drop that on to my b2 and adapt everything to the new cab, and also build an interior.

small flat deck on the back.

i wouldnt put a car body on a truck frame becuase i have only seen a couple come out looing half way decent. but if you want to dont use a fiero body because they are if i remimber correct unibodied and rear engion so it will be sitting 2 feet about the frame just to clear everything. Find something that has the motor in the front and a frame. Here is a link to my brothers rig that was a toyota that we changed to a willies jeep http://forum.sanjuanrockcrawlers.com/sh ... php?t=1005

no, i'm not talking about putting a car body on a truck frame, just pointing out it's been done...too much maybe. you're right, a fiero would look shtupid, but i was doing a broad search of wheelbases.

that willy's is the shit, man!! is it a willy's or a yota, though? :wtf: what do you call it? maybe a yota flat fender. that's more of what i'm thinking of doing, excapt cab only, and making a flat deck. the only car body swaps i've seen, look poorly planned, top heavy, and hard to get in to - and you're right the bodies usually have enormous amounts of lift??? truck cab should be alright, probably fairly light compared to a gen 2 xl ?

maybe i should just do a ranger cab swap - probably easier to find a quality product. although this is the yukon, junky truck old trucks like that anywhere, but mostly pilfered. nothing left bet the block (sometimes), frame and cab. axles are iffy thesedays. interior is gone, just plywood and springs. you'll be hiking up over 'untouched nature" hundreds of kilometers( :canada: :finger: ) back in the woods, and there'll be an old steam crane from the gold rush, in a quarry the size of a wal-mart. i guess this means i gotta go wheelin' to see if i can find a decent one. :tongue2:
