What years or types of transfer cases will fit?

I have an 89 BII that I just gernaded this weekend. So now I have only 2wd. I was wondering if I should rebuild it, get a used T-case, or is there a T-case from something else that will bolt up to my tranny that is stronger than what I have?

I am surprised you managed to damage the stock t-case it is extremely strong even behind a 5.0L it holds up fine... anything from a Ranger or BroncoII 1990 and older will fit they are all the same.. just make sure you get either a manual one or motorized one depending on what you have

I found a motorized one but I have the shift linkage. Can I put that one in and still use my linkage or do I need a button of some sort for the motor? Also breaking the t-case was pretty hard I had beaten on it pretty good!

I think the BW 1354 will bolt up to your bronco also its suppose to be a little bit stronger. You can find those in the newer rangers and exploders, 91 and up. Get someone else advice on this before you do it. but it looks identical to the BW 1350. And the electric motors are the same(on the electric ones of course). OH and make sure it has the same output shafts that you have because some are different.

Like he said make sure you get the same t-case with the same output shaft because there are two different styles. One with the flange style ouput and the yolk output and they use different length drivshafts

I ended on going with a stock BII case all the t cases I found were electronic and I wanted a manual.
