Life's Wild Ride

Post by plowboy »

Hey Ya'll,

How you been. I've had a wild ride the last year. Moved from Indiana to Memphis last July. Job only lasted 4 months. Moved to Branson MO to be the video production manager of a network production truck just before thanksgiving and have been busier than a one legged man in a butt kicking contest ever since. One job sure beats the heck out of working 3. I still have my 79 that I drive daily (when I can afford gas). I miss my two BII's. Been looking around here for one but they seem to be few and far between.

Nobody, how's the EB? I saw a cherry one for sale Memorial Day weekend on my way to visit my parents. My dad came over this weekend and he saw it. He is thinking about picking it up for a project truck for me and my brother to work on when we come to visit.

Glad to see you all are still here.

I've been pretty busy myself. Seems I spend most of my free time commuting these days. Kinda sucks. EB is coming along slowly but surely. I hope it have it back on the road in a month or so.

Here's my life project. 56 Willys. It was my dad's when he was in H.S. I have laid claim to it since I was 12. It has been sitting in my grandmothers barn for the last 35 years. It will be coming to live with me hopefully this summer, If I can get a storage unit or house lined up. Living in an apartment sux.

good to hear you are still around...I have been busy with the new house so I have had no time to work on any truck project. the new garage floor is getting put in this week so I am going to start moving in tools after the elec. gets some stuff hooked up and the doors are hung.

Didn't you design your own home. You and your dad build it? Good to hear from you. did you ever get that EB road worthy?

I can't believe that I have been been out of Indy for a year already. I things will be tight for quite a while, so both my projects will sit for a while, especially the Willy's. Time flies so fast!!
