Hi to all, just found a minty condition 84 Bronco II. I need to know how to remove the ingnition module from the back of the distributor. V6 engine, I can see the small screws (2) using a mirrior, I think they are 1/4 inch heads or smaller but I can't get a socket into the hole. Is there a special socket that will fit.?? Thanks to all who reply.

I am a new mwmber, will post my profile soon.

When you go to your local NAPA or what have you, and you buy the new module ask them for the tool needed for the install. They will hand you a plastic faucet handle shaped thing with a socket imbedded or a 5.5 MM socket head for 1/4 drive, either will work. They may let you borrow the tool or the selling pirce is usually less than $5.
