Ive got a 86 BII with a v6 2.9 and a manuel transmission. I got a slight leak with the transmission at the back part where it meets the transfer case. It may sound dumb but I can't figure out where to put the damn transmission fluid in at. There is not even a dipstick under the hood to check the fluid level. Is there a place to put the fluid in on the transmission or what?

on a manual trans there is no trans dipstick and fluid level isent nearly as important but if you have a leak you will need to check and fill it and heres how to do this

crawl under your truck making sure tires are chocked and you will find a small check plug about midway up on side of trans will probably need a 3/8 ratchet to remove this plug just like a rear diff or a 12mm wrench don't remember exactly but remove this and stick your pinkie finger in the hole feeling for fluid if none is felt add gear lube i think 90w is preferred but not sure and you will wanna check with local parts store but fill trans until it starts to run out hole and replace plug the your done should work great
