I just put a new master cylinder and clutch line in my B2 and tried bleeding it but I still have no pressure.I pump it about 20 times then have a friend release the bleeder screw and let out a little fluid then tighten it but still no pressure. Any better way to do it.

gravity bleed it first take the lid off the resivor fill it up slightly open the bleeder leting fluid come out make sure you keep resivor filled this will let some of the trapped air come out with the fluid then close the bleeder and if necisary bleed in the traditionall manner the reason this is necisary is the resivor is so small when you pump the pedal it breaks the bubblesa up and tiny bubbles stay in the fluid so when these tiny bubbles pop you have air again it isnt pronounced on brakes because there is more fluid so a few little bubbles dont creat a problem hope this helped my chilton for my b2 doesnt mention this but my haynes for the wifes explorer has good directions on it if you need more help try the explorer haynes

Internal or external slave?

Otherwise, I agree with the previous post. Gravity bleed first. When you get to pumping, pump VERY slow. If you use your hand, you can feel when the piston in the mastercylinder has moved out, the push again slowly. You might only get 1/4" of movement at first.

If it's an external slave, it's much easier to pull the slave and let it hang. Then crack the bleeder, push the pushrod in by hand and close the bleeder.
