I recently picked up a really clean stock BII and budgeted out a J.D. Stage 1 lift to be purchased this month and installed before the beginning of March. Then I had budgeted new 8” rims and 31’s to be put on after I finished the lift. Right before I was going to buy the lift I came across a screaming deal on a set of BF Goodrich 30” Dualers and was talked into buying them. Firestone is convinced I can put these 30” tires on 8” rims without the lift initially. No off-roading but good enough for a daily driver until I get the lift in a couple months. Is this right? Not sure what the offset on the rims is.
Has anyone run their stock rig with 30” x 15 x 8’s without a lift? I’m ok with a little rubbing on tight turns and it’s only for a couple months but is it even doable? Appreciate any input.
15 x 8 rims on a stock BII?
Done deal....
Alrighty, took everything yall said into consideration and decided to have the 30’s put on over the weekend. They look great but yeah, hard turns they rub. LOUDLY. Great incentive to get the lift purchased and installed very soon. Thanks for the input.
