now that is has cooled off what are some tricks you all use to keep warm while in your b2s or to warm em up before you off to work or school.
i had an idea of either finding a 12 volt heater i can set in my floor board i can turn on 15-20 minuted before i leave just run it off a 2nd battery since cold starts are hard enough but not sure wear to find a heater for a good price.
does this sound like a good idea or am i just settin myself up for a bad accident

You can get a block heater. They replace one of the freeze plugs, then you just plug in to 120V. You could also snag some heated seats out of something.
Or you can quit being a sissy

You can get interior warmers that you can plug in along with your block heater.
They work alright for smaller cabs, not sure how they would do on a B2 cab.
They are good enough that you won't have to scrape windows, unless you get an ice storm.
I always start the truck up 5-10Min before I leave the house anyway so it's relatively warm when i leave for work.

Block of wood works
Most of the auto parts stores should have them out now.

Some of them are 12 V and some are 120 V
The 120 V shouldn't run teh battery down. If it does something is wrong!!

I just corrected this problem in my 88 B2. You may have air in your system. Take one of your Heater Core hoses loose at the firewall and stick a water nozzel in the hose and turn water on until you have purged air from your system. Air and then water should come from the heater core nipple you removed hose from. Don't purge for to long you don't want to wash all your anti-freeze out.
