driveshaft question

will a u joint style rear driveshaft from any year of bll drop in place of cv style driveshaft thanks for any feedback

ive got a 90 bii that had a cv style in it and i got a triple u joint out of a 84 and it works with my 4in suspension lift but the slip yoke is in as far as it can go, so that shaft could stand to be cut down a inch or so, but if you have a 6in or 8in suspension lift you should have no problems at all
