I can figure the head gaskets intake stuff are the timing covers etc different ?

Most of the gasmets are the same. The difference comes in if you use the 84'-85 intake on a 74' and up engine. the water outlets ore different and you will need to use the timing cover off of a 80's model on a 70's model to make it work if you want to run the newer intake. The only other difference in the motors is that the 70's motors were made in Germany.

Thanks, do you know if I can run the mustang block, heads,intake and carb with a later timing cover 80s timing cover ? thanks :hmmm:
