Panel Repair

Post by LarryA »

Has anyone used any of the new panel adhesives to put a patch pannel on a B2? I'm considering a fix for both quarter panels in front of the rear wheels using repair panel skins and possibly 3M Automix adhesive. I currently have sheet aluminum riveted over rust holes (looks better than holes). I don't have access to a welder, nor can I weld. I'm thinking the adhesive method should appear the same as the gaurd panels you can purchase for jeeps.

Your best bet with this route is to get the whole kit from Eastwoodco.com
It comes with the panel adhesive, rivet dimplers, flange tools, and cleco pins. Runs about $80, but it will work just fine.
