if i cut my muffler off and add a new muffler to it will i need to get pipes the run to the back or can i just weld the new muffler on and run it as is.
and will it mess up anything with the idol or oxygen sensors or anything of that sort?

you should be fine to just change the muffler. just make sure you get the same size in and out on the pipes.
