My son and I took his B2 up a couple of inclines tonight, the carb almost immediately loads up the motor, while climbing.
I assume the float is set to high, does that sound correct to you guys ?
Thanks

If I use a carb to wheel I like to use the 2bl Holley. The 4bl Holley has two seperate fuel bowls to manage. Lots of good stuff is made for the Holley aftermarket. The best is the foam cell to keep the jets covered. Vent tube baffles are another. You can extend your vent tube if you have room. I set the float so that fuel will just splash out the sight window on level ground when you push or bump hard the side of the truck making it rock from side to side.
Loading up could be a jet or idle circuit problem. Float level most of the time will make the truck die. Either it's too high and fuel will slosh into the carb and it will die and be flooded or it will die because the float level is too low and the jets uncover when fuel sloshes in the bowl. There are folks who like the Autolite. There is a guy back east that has a big carb store. Just have to do a web search. Dunkin 4x4 in Gunnison Colorado is said to do good carb work with the Autolite for off roading.
If it dose it when you work the truck really hard and the truck runs warm-hot you might want to see about making a fresh air intake for the carb. If the carb gets hot it will start dumping a bunch of fumes in the carb causing a over rich problem and will load up.
Hope that helps some. Good luck.
