Cast aluminum 15" rims...

I saw an older Ranger 4wd on the road recently. It had what looked like the same rims I have on my BII which I got from a "older" Explorer. I need a fifth one and can't find one. Does anyone know if these rims also came on older Rangers?

It's cast aluminum, with twelve holes, ( about 1" diameter), down in the dish of the rim. And it's a 15" by about 7.5". Thanks, Dave

Funny. I just put four American Racing Outlaw II wheels on the B2 then needed something with the correctire size for the spare. Went to the boneyard and lucked out. Found the same year B2 with the factory 15X7 aluminum wheels and it even had the same size tire on it that was holding air. It cleaned up perrty good and looks great on the back compaired to the plain old steel wheel. Cost was $15 for the wheel and tire. That was the ONLY one I saw that wasn't in bad shape. Sometimes I actually get lucky, not often but sometimes.

I've seen the wheels posted on EBay already as a single wheel bid. A search for a Ranger wheel might bring it up. They were common on the Rangers.

I had a lot of success when I also went to the salvage yard over the weekend .... found the spare rim I needed.

Found out the 1991 Explorers had the 12 hole, 7" wide rim I needed and a sitting nearby was a Ranger with the same rims.

But also, I got the replacement floor trim plate where the two shiftlevers come up through the floor. Four BII's and the last one I looked at was the auto trans and 4wd floor shifter one I had to have. :D Dave.
