I have a tach I want to install in my Bronco but I don't know how to hook it up to the coil/pack thing on ym fender wheel. I have the instructcions that came with it but I don't know which wire I use from the coil/pack thing. It says hook up to negative but which wire is that? Any help is greatly appreciated

The green wire, if I remember right, is the one that goes to the coil and to the computer. Worst coms to worst to the key on and use a test light to find out which one had a constent 12 volt and which one pulses with the turn over of the key. Also if yours has a noise supressor(condensor), it comes off of the negative side of the coil. My 85' BII had a plug in, available for the diagnoistics, that a spade connector would plug right into.

Yep, green wire on the coil sounds right. Tie the light into your dash lights, so your dimmer works. ;)

Green wire is correct! Hopefully one day I will have a enough motor to justify my tach LOL! Until then, it looks cool and everybody asks..."you got a V8 in there?"

I Whish :frown:

How do you think I feel I got a 5 inch Auto-Meter monster tach for a gift and the only thing I have to put it in is my Bronco. So I have a stock Bronco with a HUGE tach in the corner of my dash...
