Used lift kit?

Post by The_BroncoII_Kid »

Well there's a BII sitting in my local Junkyard with a liftkit appears tobe a 4 or 6 inch has Sky Jacker stickers in the windows. Is there anythign wrong with using a old lift kit?? Has decent 31's on it aswell

As long as the vehicle doesn't look like it has had a serious collision (rollover or front end damage) you should be ok. My lift came off of a ranger that was rolled on its side and it seemed to work ok.
EBSteve just likes to watch me break things.:-)
420HP and 775Ft lbs Now it is time to break things.

It looks like the motor blew and it has some typical off roading dents in the fenders and doors. So it looks like I'm getting a lift instead of the f-150 spring idea.

I don't see a problem with it, if the price is right. Even with a brand new lift, you'll never get the front end aligned

A couple of the drop brackets will stress over time and crack. Easy enough to repair though. If there is a drop pitman arm, be sure and grab that.
