3.8 in a Bronco ?

I have a friend that has two middle 90s Turdbird Super Coupes, I was at his place this past weekend. He was putting the 3.8 back in one of them while I was there. Those motors are pretty slick, they have aluminum heads, roller cams, forged pistons, Eaton super charger and innercooler.
They also have a standard SB Ford six bolt bell housing pattern. They must be fairly light, sporting the aluminum heads. My buddy told me that they make 300 HP+ with minor tweeking. He said he never gets less than 20 MPGs even if he beats it. I rode in it, and the boat scoots, no lag.
He said, once he went to the ARP studs instead of the stretch style head bolts, all of his blown head gasket problems went away. He also said that they have a bullit proof bottom end.
Its probably not worth the trouble, supercharged 3.8 & 435 NP ?
It would keep things lighter than a 302.
I was concidering using Megasquirts EFI controller for this swap.
Dream on Beaver.
