Out of all of the off-road vehicles I have seen from friends I must say that the Bronco II is one of the best you can own. The parts for them are very cheap, they are easy to repair, their turning radius off road is just unbeatable, and you can buy them cheaply. I just finished rebuilding my 2.8 but wish I went to a v8 but oh well. I added some mud tires and am putting a winch on next week, I also added 6 100 watt lights lol and I have no computer system or electrical system and everything else is manual except for the transmission. I am now interested in mounting an ac compressor and modify it as an air compressor.

Shhhhh don't tell anyone....
What I've found with Bronco II's, is people either love them or hate them.
They are a decent platform to build on. Even with jeeps and toyota's, people end up upgrading engines, trannies and axles. Bronco II's definately have some good points. I just wish they had factory removable tops.
I think the Early Bronco is one of the best stockers ever.

personaly I think the BII is a good wheeler out of the box. but it's like Nobody said, every truck has to have some type of upgrades unless you go back to when trucks were real trucks. but even then you still have to upgrade a few things...
I plan to use my EB as a DD and the next project BII as my beater.
