I have the old V-6 pump. Advance Adapters says that you can use a car bracket, but the number that they gave me is no longer being made. Just wondering if anyone else did anything different besides use the stock pump and find a bracket.

I don't know much about the BII pumps but I would take the time to get a Saginaw pump and make it fit. I have had the old metal round style pump, the newer plastic pump and the Saginaw all on my Bronco and the sag is the only one worth a poo.

It's not the pump, it's the bracket.
After a few calls the usual adapter that you can get from Ford passenger cars is no longer being made or available at dealerships. For those who are looking, you have to find a 78-85 Ford passenger car with a 302. Preferrably with A/C.

I just go to the pull a part lot and get a bracket that I can make work, if I relied on off the shelf parts I would not be able to afford a Bronco

Too true. I am finding that the junkard is getting great business from me. I found a pump from a 78 Thunderbird and going down to the sticks this Monday to see if I can use the bracket and the pulley.
I would get a saginaw, but the motto for my BII is "Wheels Turning!" So, whatever I can do to get that thing running so I don't have to drive 4 hours to work on it.
