Well I think I've read just about everything. My front coils are sagging a little and I wanna replace them, but I wanna use some that are about 1.5 taller.I heard that ranger supercabs front coils are taller.Curious if anyone has any ideas about what to use?
Thanks
Chad

4 door Ford Explorer Coils usually provide you with a little lift up front but they are kinda stiff. Not to bad realy I know a few that run them.

Those trucks came with factory 31's, Exploders didn't. They will fit an a 2 wheel drive but you will have to use the 4X4 Axle pivots to give you the proper drops to keep the alignment.

Those trucks have wider wheel wells and I had a 91 Sploder once and 31's fit with out rubbing on stock wheels no lift.

BTW I never said you were wrong about the springs you sugested they might work well. I have no experience with them. Do you know first hand that 93 Ranger springs are taller and will provide a Bronco II with lift? I know for a fact that 4dr Explorer coils will lift a Bronco II a bit and I was just giving another sugestion to the guy BTW.

by no v8? why drive?
I just had a pair of 4 door expo springs and ext cab ranger springs but I sold them both. The expo springs were noticeably thicker gauge than the extended cab springs so I suspect they would give a bit more lift. I dont think there is a difference between '93 and up and pre '93 extended cab springs. Both trucks weigh near the same and use the same suspension geometries. I image the ride would be rough with either though, as all TTB springs are too stiff already. TTb F150 coils are supposed to give between 1.5" and 4" of lift depending on year and engine and extended/regular cab. Id try a set of regular cab shortbox 5.0 springs and see if you cant find any explorer springs.

Well now I'm confused lol.I guess there are alot of different ways to go.I guess maybe i'll try some ranger coil springs. If I use f-150 and they are to tall could I just heat them and let them drop just a little.Gotta do something soon tire starting to rub on passenger side.

I wouldn't heat the springs, but I would cut them to height. it would be more consistant if you cut the same amount of coils out than hope that they will stop dropping with the heat. Besides I don't think they will fit as full size unless you have a spring compressor or lift brackets.
