I'm having some serious back pain, so I decided to take a vicodin my wife got after she had the baby. It didn't do anything  What's the big deal about these things?

When I jacked up my ankle I took two and drank 3 beers and it would make me tired enough so I could get some sleep.
IMO they are about worthless for you since you probably don't have much beer around and taking someone else's prescription is illegal :finger:

You know...maybe I should resort to a little liquid medication....

Don't even get me started on prescription drugs  I actually went to the doctor for my back last time it was acting up. I had to pay a $200 deductible, co-pay, and the fucking cost of a bottle of IBprofin :mad2: :mad2:

I hate doctors that just prescribe drugs. I want to know why I'm having problems and if it can be fixed....is that so hard? No...they have to keep the drug companies happy before they do their damn jobs.

Now, since it's a new year, I have to pay the damn deductible again

Nice going Steve....

You have to remember Matt if you go by the sript written for you wife, who is probably 1/2 to 2/3 your weight you will have to double or triple the scrip to get the desired effect. But I will agree 2 vicodin and 2-3 beers make the pain tolerable enough to sleep. It worked when I shattered my knee cap this summer. I didn't even miss work over it   :rolleyes2:

The problem with Dr's is that they are "practicing medicine"! I only practice stuff that I am not good at to get better :wtf:

pain pills never realy did it for me either...self medication all the way. I have a sister in law that is a nurse practitioner who I use for my doctor...well that and my wife entire family are nurses. I usualy run it by her to see if I realy need to go and she usualy tells me what to do so we don't have to pay for a 5 min. visit. I am one of those people who has a cabinet full of medicine that I never took so I usualy just dig threw that first. a while ago I hurt my neck and kept the leftovers of some 800mg ibuprofen...now that helps with the pain.

Then why did you let your wife drive the other day? I thought you still needed the practice in the snow. :redneck:

Well I did not get stuck, and I went all the way to the top. I don't think I need practice but I guess it's easy to arm chair QB from the bottom LOL
:redneck: I have a ??? about the sig line, why are you making stuff up? Two things I am not mad that Matt pulled you out (I don't even remember which time) and I have plenty of power with the FI HO roller motor.

My motor is almost out. Will be out tomorrow. Had to order new main bearings cause were I took it to left a screw driver gouge in the front cap bearing. :mad2: It will work out better in the end since I spent the big money and bought the Dual oil groove bearing from summit. I also bought the dual friction centerforce clutch. I should be able to run high range 4X with the torque the new motor will put out and my little tires ;)
