some more progress

Post by NMB2 »

well...i put on another bumper...finished the chop..and shock mounts and put back on the stablizer and put on the power steering

then we were driving around and seen some guys in a fullsize ford and chevy...driving on this ramp..and we stoped..and they didnt think i could make it to the top..so i gave it what i had.

i still need to fix my trac bar mount...that will come in the next few days..im slacking with drilling the holes in the plate to clear power steering bolts...so my compression on the front is limited by about 3"

anyways...heres some pictures..oh and i fixed my trucks lean..one coil was shot

body flex definatly isnt to bad....i still need to cage it but i dont think ill be breaking body mounts and windshields like everyone suggested.
i wish my lawn was emo...so it'd cut itself.

and my tuffbin i got for christmas...i really like it. it currently holds my toolbox, jumper cables, logging chain, snap strap, sleeping bag and a few spare parts...i plan to take out the toolbox and fit the rest of my camping gear.
and that is my flood/spot light i hooked up to the idiot light.

and here are the seats that will also go into the B2 in a few days when i get around to welding on the new trac bar mount...then ill weld on my old seat tracks to these seats and use them.

With the arm in upside down like that it looks like the shock might have hit already or is it just the picture that makes it look that way?

it was really really close and the driver one did get dinged..nothing major..like maybe a 1/16th of an inch...so i took my grinder and ground off about 1/4" on the arm..now they clear no problem on extension

arm isnt upside down though...i ground off the rivets and fliped it.
