You are right, those chairs are great. Great looking boy. Kids are really great even though I have said otherwise at times...

honestly, if it helps to keep him happy I will bite the bullet and just buy batteries 
the thing we are realy wanting is to get him to adapt to our sleep patterns. so I have came up with several differnt things to try and this is one of them. he has his nights and days confused. so I plan to use the seat to set him by the PC while I catch up on school work tonight with the room dark. the chair will make him tired and want to sleep and I can keep an eye on him. then in the morning he will be more rested and want to be more active. I know that it will take some time because of the feeding that has to happen every 2-3 hours but I think it might help a little. also, if he can see me but I leave him alone it might encourage him to be less needy for being held all the time. I never thought I would use those phycology classes I took as a freshman but you would be suprised how handy those books can be

Both of the boys used that same chair. It worked pretty well. Vibrates and music. Best of all it folded up and we took it every where. Put them to sleep pretty easily. When he is a little older diffinetly get the Johnny Jump Up. I believe that was the best investment. Hours of entertainment for the child and the parent. Plus when they are sleepy they would bounce themselves to sleep. Something you won't get a lot of now.

we got about 7 hours last night total. had to get up every 3 hours to feed but it is realy not getting to bad yet. planning a pig roast this weekend so eveyone can come and see him and celibrate.
the worst side effect so far is I am way behind on class projects. I think my teachers are going to help a little though.
oh, and Matt......the car will make him fall strait out. so you might get some bennifit from some light trail riding and quite time

Congrats Dbrown.
Looks like you and your wife did good man.I don't have any childern of my own,but I do have several niece's and nephews and they never cease to amaze me.
On another subject,I pulled the oilpan off the 460 today and have some good news.No metal in the pan,no broken rods or piston skirts.I am gona plasta gauge the rod and mains and go from there.I'll keep ya posted.And you keep me posted on your son.
