The new test results:
I passed everything except for now I FAILED in both NO PPM categories. The first test with the advanced timing, I passed the 15mph NO PPM test but failed the 25mph portion.
Now, with the correct timing and a new PVC valve - I failed both portions of the NO PPM testing. How do you fix things and the results get worse????
It is my understanding that the Nitros Oxide gases are the gases that are routed back in the cylinder to get burned some more - apparently this isn't happening on my truck?? It was also my understanding that the catalytic converter adds water or something like that to the fumes and that small drops of water coming out of your tailpipe is a good sign that your cat is working.
anyone heard ofusing isopropyl alcohol to help with the emissions? Do you put that in your gas tank - just a little bit or how much? A few ppl I've talked too have mentioned this.
