Someone might have pulled the carrier for a T/L or spare or something before they sold it to you and then just bolted everything back up to look fine. I have heard of worse. If you hear no noise I doubt it a r&p or spider problem as they tend to make alot of noise if they are trashed. I guess they could have blown and instead of fixing them someone just pulled the carrier as well? The front and rear gearing are completely dependant on the individual axle you pick up. You have to make sure they match though, so check your rear gears and try and find a d35 with the same. Common is 3.73 and 3.54
