Lookin pretty good. How do you feel about the body swap thus far?

I feel pretty good about it so far. now that the rear is in the position I want it, I think the other stuff will come along pretty fast. the only things that are going to hold me up are other people, waiting on parts and of course money. I am trying to take it one step at a time and just deal with the issues as they come up.

at the moment I could wire the motor, hook up the slave, install the fuel lines and cell, and hook up the steering and go with it. all that would probably only take a few days but I want to set it up the way I want it right from the start.

yep, but in KY we only have to have tail lights turn signals head lights and a windshield. also I think the largest tire we can run is 44's, no bead locks, and we have no emissions.

you lucky :finger: . emission's suck but i guess they have there purpose. the nose will be heavy but you wheel base is pretty long to. what is she measure? i just saw a heep (cj7) type stock wheel base in peterson's and i think it has a 454.. 302 would still do the job, but my 351c got me hooked. i had the 302 sitting around to drop in and decided to stick with the 351c.

my wheel base should be about 102.5" +- .25"
I like it where it is now, I am waiting on how much lift it gets before I shorten the driveshaft.
I like the idea of the BB but I am still back and forth with it. I read that the bronco graveyard spring will work with it and still flex good but we will see. D-Diesel.......don't you have a set of wild horses springs? how do they hold up with the cleavland?

i dont have the wild horses yet but that's what im gonna run. i talked to SquattyD over at FSB and he recommended the wildhorse becuz of the pregressize rate and not to mention the 4" superflex coil's are 26" no load. to long for me

i keep forgetting to ask if your gonna run a borgenson steering shaft? im gonna run one becuz my rag joint is taking a beat'n.

DB you talking about the borgeson/ if so it's steering shaft that help's with steering shaft angles. here is a link that can give you an idea of what im talking about. i could'nt get on the borgeson's site. http://www.off-road.com/jeep/tech/steer/borgesoncj/

b2binbad you running the 3.5 or 5.5 coil's?

did you see the price on those?
 thats more then I paid for the 79!!!!!!

I had an idea to take a combo of the two shafts and making my own slip joint and just welding it together. I will probably tackle that problem last.

yeah there not cheap but that's the only thing i could think of. i guess i could figure something out for cheaper but my rag joint is being punished becuz of the angle of the shaft i made. my shaft is a slip shaft type but i need a joint in the middle to take pressure of the rag joint. coming along very nice so when do you think you have achance to fire that bad boy up?
