EB steering ????

EB steering ????

okay i have a steering set up from a EB not sure what yr. problem is the drag link is to long what are you fellas using and is there a stock set up from a EB that i can use for now? :confused:

Nobody i noticed your old steering not the ttb but the EB had a adjustable end. was that stock or did you have it made (cut and threaded)?

I believe I used one of the stock BII tie rods as a drag link. I wouldn't recommend it, but it got me down the road for the short term. This setup is bad because of where the drag link connects to the EB tie rod. Makes for a really short drag link.

okay, damn i sold all that stuff oh well i'll find something.. i may just ream the ford knuckles and buy a steering set up i was just try'n to save some doe in the mean time.

okay so im going to use the stock b2 drag link for now can i adjust the axle centered with this???

You mean to hold the truck in place while you mock up your trac bar bracket? All you can do is try.

Just be carefull, I had a 4" drop pitman, and as I recall that BII tie rod was in pretty bad shape when I pulled it off. It was running at too steep an angle, and it wasn't on there very long.

Nobody do you have off hand the p# for your tie rod ends that you used for your steering?? i am have to go with custum steering and will need to buy the rod ends. how thick are they as well???
