Hopefully easy question for someone. Trying to hook up 4 wire trailer hitch wiring. Each side has lime green wire, black wire and brown wire going to the turn signal/brake/tail light. Tried to buy after market kit, no such luck. Need advice on which wire is hooked to what on the 4 wire hitch(left signal, right signal, ground, tail light) I tried and got nota.

best way and easiest way to make sure you have it right is to use a test light and check for pwr at the harness with each wire... example rt blinker check wire and connect corresponding wire, lt blinker check wire and so on.
Darker than your average wheeler!!!!

Ford makes a adapter that plugs into the existing wiring harness and It takes all the guessing out of it for you. Mine had about 2 ft of cord to reach where ever you needed it to. Fatman's idea will well to. I try to avoid cutting into my wire harness.
