I've never done one on a BII, but they are all a pain in the ass. It's especially fun when they use rivots to hold everything together.

I did mine on the same side you are getting ready to do and it sucked...if you have skinny hands it is easier. just find a way to hold the window up so it will not come down on your hands and you will be fine. I don't think it was held on with riviots. I want to say I used a wrench to get it in and out. hint...if you can hear the motor run when you hit the button, it is just falling, it is the gear. the motor was like $70 but the gear was around $20.

hey.. yeah thats waht i figured once i took the door panel off.. i dont hear anything when i push the switch which works because i bought a new PW motor for it anyway.. $75 with a year warranty. also wanted to know.. i just replaced the gas tank in my B2 because the old one was rusty on the inside because it sat up.. and i just bought the bronco last week and the new gas tank was waiting to be put in.. i did that and hooked all the hoses up.. put about 5 gal. of gas in it and it wouldnt start.. my next idea was the fuel filter and i was just so determined to get this thing but running i didnt have an oil filter wrench big enough to fit the canister to take it off.. i saw grooves and figured you could tap it with a screw driver.. well it cracked.. but it doesnt drip or anything but it is wet with gas on the bottom. the bronco still wouldnt start until i towed it home from my dads building where i had been working on it. my dad figured there was just alot of air in the gas tank so we filled it up.. it started right up so i drove it around to see if it gave me any problems.. i went about 10 miles and it started to sputter like it was starving for gas and it died.. i got my brother to come pick me up and we left it in a church parking lot and went back to it about 20 min later.. i was curious so i tried to start it and it started right back up.. it did the same thing after driving another 10 miles. do you think by me cracking the canister that it would suck air into the fuel line after that 10 mile distance and cause it to shut down? because it always starts back up after about 10-20 min and i can get another 10 miles out it. im going to put some JB weld on it in a minute just to see. but if it is something else i would really like to know as my dad is tired of me using his truck to make my pizza deliveries in. thanks for the advice nobody and dbrown.. i might try to tackle that power window motor tonight too
