i need a broncoII
i need a broncoII
im lookin for a bronco II and i need to kno what the best engine or year is to look for i also need to kno if a regular stock engine would have enough power to go wheelin and what kind of gas mileage they get email me with any info at waszup64@yahoo.com
the "best" engine is kind of an opinion thing but I think it realy matters what you plan to do with the truck. if you plan to do a 302/5.0L swap I would go with a 84-85 for the reason of you could retain the stock automatic and the duraspark ingnition would be an easy swap.
sorry man, you got to come here to get it...email me with any info at waszup64@yahoo.com

Bronco II's were made from 84-90. 84-85 had carbuerated 2.8L V6's.86-90 came with fuel injected 2.9L V6's. 89-90 had different fenders, grill and dash.
The later 1990 models stand out from the rest because some of them came with a Dana 35 up front and a little better transfercase.
I'd recommend finding a 1990 with a dana 35 front. Otherwise any of the fuel injected years would be a good start.
The stock engines don't have a lot of power, but they work. Most Bronco II owners wheel with the stock engines. I prefer a V8!
