Hi im new to the bronco II, this is my first 1. It is a'87 2.9 E.F.I. 4X4. I bought this bronco for a guy who let it sit for 3 years. I droped the tank and flushed it out and replaced the fuel filter. Now it rus but whenever it is put under a load it spudders alot and somtimes dies. Any ideas??????

The first thing that pops into my head is a clogged cat. Maybe a mouse(s) used it for a home!?!

Are all the vacuum lines hooked up correctly?

You have no doubt done this but I'll mention it. If the former owner is available find out how it ran before it was parked. Maybe this problem is why he wasn't driving it and he may be able to clue you in to what he has already tried in getting it fixed.
