hey i just wanted to know really quick if the eb d30 has anything in common with the eb d44. i may have a line on a free d30 and i wanted to know it the axle shafts were the same i dont think so but wanted to make sure.

I think the only similarities are the axles are a direct replacement, meaning if you SAS your BII you can swap a 44 in just by bolting it in.

also if you do a disk brake upgrade it will swap over to the 44 knuckles.
71 Bronco - twin sticked, full width, 2" lift, wristed arm, lots of rust...

wiil the d30 shafts fit the d44 though..

I'm pretty sure the stub shafts are the same. They use the 260x joint though, which is the same as stock EB 44.

I believe dana 30's are 27 spline and dana 44's are 30 spline. So the inners won't swap.

Radius arms should be the same, as are the drum brake/hub assemblies.
