Phillippi,

Is you m44 the sniper version or just the regular m44? The one I have shot before, and the one I want is the sniper version. The only way I know to how to tell the difference, is the bolt is different between the two.
I ran across a place the other day ( :mad2: and can't remember where :mad2: ) that was selling the ammo for $2.99/box. Kinda cheap I thought.

Im sure mine is the regular. I cannot be sure. All I know is I bought mine about 4 or 5 years ago for like $59.00 (day after Thanksgiving sales). Since then I havent seen them that cheap or even close.

That is a good price for ammo. I think the last ammo I bougt was in that price rance. I havent bought any ammo for a couple of years.

There is a gun shop here in town that sells them anywhere from $80 to $125 most of them in good condition. The "sniper" one that I have shot and I have also seen one other one, the bolt curved down just like any other hi-po rifle. The regular ones, the bolt just sticks straight out to the side about 3 inches or so. Yours shoots 7.64X.56 right? That's the one I shot. Anyway, it was one of the most accurate guns that I had shot.
