Phillippi gun choice?

Im going to be going to the acadamy soon but i have to pick up a hand gun but im not sure on what gun i should get. What do you think is a really good starter gun for me. I would like to get a .44c but i dont know if i have to get a particular handgun for the acadamy. Thanks

Well check if the academy requires a certain gun. Also are you being sponsered by a department? If so they usually (big departments) issue the sidearm. If not and you have to purchase your own, then get one that either you really like or can sell in the future if you need to.

Out of all the guns I have shot I really liked the Barretta and Glock. I have the most trigger time on the Glock by far. If it was me I would buy a Glock 22 (.40) with 3 15 rd mags.

A .44 is cool, but not that practicle with reloading while firing tactically. I hope this helps.

How much is a new glock 22?

Pretty standard around $450-$500 depending if you get night sights (highly recommended) and stuff. Those prices are for around here but I imagine that they are the same everywhere.

yep im putting myself though. I will deffently check into if i need a certain gun. Thanks for the info. I also want to get it soon because it take a long time to actully get a gun here.
