just like the topic says...got some pics of what my rear suspension could do. i built it for free including shocks but it could be done easily for less than $30. i have some Hybrid leaf packs that i threw together, factory 2.5" blocks, 11" travel shocks. if anyone wants more info on it let me know and id be glad to specify year/model of leafs and whatever else. total lift is about 6" and ride quality 1-10 id rate a 7 for a offroad truck. also...i need some new damn tires...those 30's were cool when it was stock..they arent so cool anymore
What springs freom what vehicle did you put together into a pack to get that much flex? I am wondering if I could use my rear mounts to still get the lift I need, maybe with some small blocks. I gotta see how mine do though too.

I used 93' ranger springs, That are a three leaf design, and was able to achieve that much travel with the right shocks. I believe that the 93' and newer springs are longer that my stock 85' ranger springs. I used the stock 2 1/2" block with them. Another example is when I removed the rear end to have the gears put in and to install the springs I had the truck set on jack stands at a level that I could remove all the parts. When it came time to install the rear axle I had to jack the tuck up al most another foot to get the axle to slide under it. Just a thought.
EBSteve just likes to watch me break things.:-)
420HP and 775Ft lbs Now it is time to break things.
actually thats a stock B2 mainleaf and really that is what controls the droop. i plan on getting a longer main leaf or longer shackle someday but for now this works fine for me..about 10" up and 14" down. mainleaf is my stock 84 leaf, 2nd and 3rd leaf are the 2nd and 3rd leaf out of a 84 F150 stepside pack, bottom leaf is the leaf out of my 84 pack that has the retainer deals to keep them all in line. then of course i have the factory lift block.
I don't think with either of those setups I could get the lift I am looking for. I really don't want blocks back there and will have to see how it flexes now. I may just remove a few leaves and drop both mounts a little more and use a longer setting on my shackle so i keep the same height I am at and free up some flex.
