Want to know what people think about a pair of axles from a 92 explorer with 3.73 gears and they only have 68,000 miles on them for the price of $600.00. From what i've been told they are easy to swap on a bII. 

thats not a bad price for both. if you are wanting to stick to the TTB then I would probably go ahead and get them.

the TTB is the suspension that you have now in the front. it is independent. if you want to go solid axle you will not want to buy the axles you are looking at. if you go solid I would look into a D44/9" combo because they are easier to find as a set off one truck.
the front axle you are looking at now is a D35. people say it is as strong as the D44 but it is a different system that is harder to understand, harder to keep it in alignment, and dosen't use physics to its advantage. that is why alot of people get rid of it.
all in all I think it really depends on what you want to do with your truck. if you only do mild wheeling or want to blast accross rough terain then the TTB will work ok. if you want alot of suspension articulation and you truck to more stable then the SA is the way to go. it just depends on what you want.

Thanks for explainning the TTB. I would go with stronger axles but the thing is that i have already purchased and installed a 5 1/2" suspension lift that would only work with independent front end. If i was told wright the D35 from the explorer should match with very little problems. Keep it coming though, i still would like any and all info for my build wheather it be short cuts when installing or ideas for a new direction.
