5.0L Rad Question

ok as im sure alot of you noticed by my previous post im moving my 5.0L from my '86 BII(wich I rolled down a small cliff) to my new purchase of a '90 BII(wich looks like it just rolled off the factory floor).

Now my question is what should I do for a rad? last time I used a straight 6 rad from a Fairmont but that rad was to small. this time I want to get a nice thick rad preferably one that fits infront of where the stock rad goes. SO that i have room for a good fan.

Well Nobody got a Griffen for another application and mounted it a different way, talk to him. But as far as I go...I'm just gonna go ahead and get the james duff 302 conversion radiator.

As big as that griffin radiator was, I might as well just use the stock 5.0 rad I have with tranny cooler... Its only 28" wide and 17" tall....

i used the griffin like nobody and it works great but its really tight on the bottom hose! i had the james duff one and it didnt cool to good.

Summit sells aluminum radiators in a few sizes, I just measured and got one from them that would fit, I don't remember the dimensions but for $170 I got a brand new aluminum radiator and then I mounted dual electric fans in front of it as pushers and mounted seperate tranny and oil coolers in front of the radiator too.

I just read some where that a rad from a CJ7 304 ci engine will tuck under the rad support quite nicely

Im gonna see if I can find one of these :)
